Purwanchal Agriculture Campus (PAC), Jhapa, Nepal was established in 2075 BS affiliated Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) Rampur, Chitwan. PAC aim’s to produce graduates with sufficient technical and entrepreneurial skills for productive self-employment, research and be involved in all aspects of agriculture and related areas. Relevance to national development and global societal needs and industry. PAC is situated in Gauradha District in Eastern terai of Nepal. PAC is from the East-West Highway nearby Damak. Terai of Nepal is famous for most of commercial crops like rice, tea, black cardamom, maize, wheat, etc. including animal husbandry and fisheries. Therefore the faculty would be more diverse in agricultural activities. This would diversify food production and availability in Nepal and boost national food security. The Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP) has exclusively quoted Jhapa to be a super zone of paddy production, which furthermore would attract more quality staff and students in the days ahead by producing competent human capital in the field of agriculture.
